Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Control Panel Assembly Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing electrical control panels used in various industrial applications. Duties
- Assemble electrical control panels by following detailed blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Install and connect electro-mechanical components such as relays, contactors, circuit breakers, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Use hand tools and power tools to accurately build and wire panels.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints to ensure precise assembly according to specifications.
- Perform occasional testing and troubleshooting of assembled control panels using multimeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
- Collaborate with engineers to resolve assembly issues and improve manufacturing processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety protocols at all times.
Experience
- Proven experience in electronics assembly or electrical panel building within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical wiring, and schematic reading.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools and soldering equipment.
- Ability to follow blueprint specifications accurately while maintaining quality standards.
- Mechanical knowledge related to machining and mechanical assembly is a plus.
- Experience with electrical blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, and wiring diagrams is essential.
- Attention to detail is a must.
