Crisis Intervention Professionals (CIP) are expected to maintain a high level of skill in crisis prevention and intervention strategies. CIP's will maintain flexibility in their ability to cross-over programs as determined by needs of the person or persons in programs in emergency situations. Cross training and knowledge of behavioral programs for individuals in other programs will be trained and assigned as needed. Ability to travel and assist in emergency situations is essential to the responsibility of this position.
