Title: Shipping/Warehouse Supervisor
Pay Rate: $25-$30/hour
Hours: 1st Shift – 7:00am – 3:30pm
Job Duties:
- Fulfill shipping, receiving, and material handling requirements according to the production schedule.
- See that all administration and procedures related to shipping, receiving and material handling are correctly processed.
- Load and unload trucks as needed. Check materials/supplies for proper quality and counts.
- Store the products in the proper location using the proper mechanisms.
- Follow the customer specifications for packing to ensure safe handling.
- Pack material according to established procedures.
- Coordinate all freight, Federal Express and UPS shipments
- Organize and maintain all supplies for the department, re-ordering as needed
- Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations.
- Properly handle, store and follow procedures associated with hazardous material/waste according to EPA/OSHA standards. Properly process MSDS sheets and check for proper labeling.
- Determine work procedures, prepare work schedules, and expedite workflow.
- Assign duties and examine work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
- Identify employees’ skills and develop them by coaching and counseling employees on a regular basis.
