Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This position requires a commitment to patient care and a strong understanding of various caregiving practices.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Monitor and document patients' vital signs and overall health status.
- Administer medications as prescribed and ensure adherence to care plans.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning.
- Maintain cleanliness in the living environment, including light housekeeping tasks.
- Assist clients with mobility needs, including the use of Hoyer lifts when necessary.
- Support individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, and other specialized needs.
- Engage in patient observation to identify any changes in condition or behavior.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement effective care strategies.
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as home health, assisted living, or long-term care is preferred.
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with physical mobility tasks.
- Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Pay: $19.00 - $19.50 per hour
