This is a full-time 1099 contract position with a consistent weekday schedule and no weekend work.
Position Details
- Job Type: 1099 Independent Contractor (Full-Time)
- Location: Lawrenceville, GA (in person)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:30 PM
- Weekends: None
- Compensation: Starting at $2,000 per month
What You’ll Do
- Greet clients in a friendly, professional manner and help them feel comfortable as they arrive for appointments
- Answer and manage phone calls, voicemails, and messages in both Spanish and English
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments to keep the day running smoothly
- Check clients in and out, update basic information, and maintain accurate records
- Collect payments and provide receipts when needed
- Communicate with therapists/clinicians about client arrivals, cancellations, and schedule changes
- Keep the front desk and waiting area clean, organized, and welcoming
- Protect client privacy and handle all information in line with HIPAA and practice policies
- Assist with general office tasks such as scanning, filing, data entry, and emails
Required Qualifications
- Bilingual Spanish/English (required) – must be able to communicate clearly and professionally in both languages
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in a medical or healthcare setting (front desk, medical office, clinic, or similar)
- Strong customer service skills and a genuinely caring, patient, and professional demeanor
- Comfortable using a computer for scheduling, email, and basic data entry (training will be provided on our specific systems)
- Excellent communication skills, in person and over the phone
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work the full schedule Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:30 PM
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Preferred Experience
- Experience in a mental health, counseling, or behavioral health practice
- Familiarity with any electronic medical record (EMR) or scheduling systems
- Experience working with diverse client populations
