**This position is for swing shift, Monday - Friday 3:30pm to 12:00am but training will be done on day shift, Monday - Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm**
Major duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:
1. Work with the QA Lead and/or QA Supervisor to ensure all products are produced with zero defects.
2. Be aware of all products required to meet the daily requirements.
3. Ensure all products are assembled correctly and are free of defects.
4. Rotate through different stations performing assorted job duties.
5. Know and understand the methods of each area in the inspection and assembly process.
6. Learn all job-related tasks in a timely manner.
7. Learn how to use all job-related equipment.
8. Based on good judgement, the ability to relay information to stop the line to prevent overproduction of bad parts.
9. Enter inspection results in computer inspection database.
10. Keep the supervisor informed of any issues.
11. Maintain an organized and clean work area throughout the shift.
Job Skills and Abilities:
Attention to detail and able to see small objects or lettering.
Can follow directions and not wander or slack in your duties
Be able to work with hand tools and lift 35 lb. repeatedly, on occasion boxes up to 50lbs.
Demonstrates patience and positive support when training and giving instructions to others.
Basic computer skills.
Good communication skills.
Gets along well with others.
Willingness to learn.
Accurate record keeping.
Must read, write, and speak fluent English.
*The backup inspector works in QA as needed; otherwise works in production*
