Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, providing excellent customer service throughout their dining experience.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff.
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring that all items are presented attractively.
- Monitor guest satisfaction, addressing any concerns or special requests in a timely manner.
- Buss tables efficiently, clearing dishes and utensils to maintain a clean dining area.
- Adhere to all food safety and handling guidelines to ensure the health and safety of guests.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and maintain communication during busy service periods.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or fine dining is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and food handling techniques.
- Basic math skills for managing transactions and processing payments.
- Excellent guest service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for patrons.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
