Responsibilities
- Perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, patient intake, and assisting with physical examinations in an outpatient setting.
- Collect blood samples through phlebotomy with precision and care, adhering to safety protocols and maintaining specimen integrity.
- Support medical office management by maintaining accurate electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), documenting medical histories, medication administration, and procedural notes.
- Manage medical documentation and chart maintenance.
- Support medical administrative functions such as appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and managing patient inquiries to enhance service delivery.
Experience
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required; additional certification in phlebotomy or willingness to complete training & competencies required.
- Experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems for documentation and patient record management.
Pay: $16.50 - $17.00 per hour
