Experienced Flooring Measure Technician / Estimator

A well-established, growing flooring and home-improvement company is adding an experienced measure technician to its field team in the Greater Manchester area — and we've built the package to be worth the move. This is hands-on field work for someone who already knows flooring: you'll visit customers' homes, measure projects accurately, and turn them into clean diagrams and material takeoffs our estimating and install teams can rely on. What you'll do:
- Travel to residential jobs across the local area in a company-provided vehicle
- Measure rooms and spaces using a laser measure and tablet software
- Produce accurate diagrams, square footage, and material takeoffs
- Represent the company professionally in customers' homes
What we're looking for:
- Prior experience measuring or estimating flooring (or a closely related trade)
- Comfort with measurement tools and tablet-based software
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record (we provide the vehicle)
- Strong attention to detail — accuracy is the whole job, and it's what the incentives reward
