Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their food orders in a timely manner
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for retail sales transactions and cash handling
- Process cash, credit card, and digital payments accurately while balancing cash register drawers at shift end
- Prepare simple food items following food safety standards and sanitation guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including kitchen equipment, counters, and dining areas
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage customer orders efficiently using food handling techniques and food service customer order management systems
Skills
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments preferred
- Strong knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash register operations experience is essential
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with diverse guests
- Basic math skills for processing transactions and giving accurate change
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently during food preparation
- Knowledge of food safety management, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Effective time management to handle multiple tasks during busy periods while maintaining quality standards
- Experience in retail sales transactions, upselling techniques, and cashiering within the food industry or grocery stores is a plus

Pay: $15.00 - $23.00 per hour
