Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable
Outdoor Cultivation Support team member to assist cultivation managers with the daily operations of our outdoor cannabis grow facility. This role is essential to maintaining plant health, product quality, and an organized cultivation environment.
The Outdoor Cultivation Support team member will work closely with cultivation leads and managers to execute daily tasks efficiently and in compliance with company policies and state regulations.

Key ResponsibilitiesCultivation Operations
- Assist with planting, transplanting, and harvesting cannabis plants under leadership guidance.
- Support irrigation and fertigation tasks, including watering, nutrient mixing, and system checks.
- Monitor plant health by identifying pests, diseases, and nutrient deficiencies; report concerns promptly.
- Perform trellising, pruning, defoliation, and other maintenance tasks to maximize plant health and yield.
- Monitor weather conditions and adjust outdoor cultivation tools (shade cloths, fans, etc.) as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of cultivation areas, including proper disposal of plant waste and tool sanitation.
- Assist with post-harvest processing, including drying, trimming, and curing.
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain high-quality plant care.
- Communicate progress, challenges, and suggestions clearly with supervisors and team members.
Compliance & Safety
- Adhere to all state and local regulations governing cannabis cultivation.
- Maintain clean, safe work areas and consistently use required PPE.
- Properly handle and report pesticide, nutrient, and equipment-related activities.
- Follow sanitation and hygiene protocols when moving between cultivation zones.
Physical RequirementsOutdoor Work Conditions
- Ability to work in high heat, humidity, rain, wind, and seasonal weather changes.
- Exposure to dirt, dust, pollen, and plant-related allergens.
Physical Demands
- Stand, walk, crouch, kneel, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Lift and move up to 50 lbs. (soil bags, irrigation equipment, harvested plants).
- Perform repetitive motions involving hands, wrists, and arms (pruning, trellising, transplanting).
- Maintain focus and efficiency during repetitive tasks requiring attention to detail.
Working Environment
- Outdoor agricultural setting (field or greenhouse).
- Frequent physical labor including lifting, bending, kneeling.
- Exposure to strong cannabis and fertilizer odors.
- Fast-paced, team-oriented environment with production targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Prior cannabis industry experience preferred but not required.
- Basic understanding of plant biology, cultivation techniques, or pest management is a plus.
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance and product quality.
- Strong communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and obtain a Missouri Agent Card.
