Job Summary
We are currently seeking experienced and dependable Drivers with strong customer service skills to join our donation pickup team. This role is perfect for drivers who enjoy being on the road, working independently, and making a positive impact in the community.
A typical day includes completing a 25–35 stop residential route, collecting donated items ranging from small goods to light furniture. After finishing your route, donations are safely unloaded at a designated location the following morning.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, professional customer service during donation pickups
- Complete 25–35 residential pickup stops per route
- Safely lift, load, and secure donations (up to 75 lbs)
- Operate trucks responsibly and maintain care of equipment
- Unload merchandise at designated locations the following morning
- Follow proper lifting and safety procedures at all times
- Perform other related duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For
- Must be 25 years of age or older (insurance requirement)
- Clean driving record
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to use a hand truck and dolly
- Physically able to load and unload merchandise safely
- Willing to submit to drug screening and background verification
- Reliable transportation for daily commuting
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Successful completion of on-the-job training
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds periodically throughout the day
