Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Solar Crew Lead/Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work with experience in installing solar energy systems. This role requires a commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and the ability to work effectively in various weather conditions. As a Solar Installer, you will be responsible for the installation of solar panels, batteries, and associated equipment on residential and commercial properties.
Duties
- Install solar panels and related equipment according to specifications and schematics.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely and effectively during installations.
- Conduct high voltage and low voltage wiring as per National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
- Collaborate and motivate team members on construction sites to ensure timely project completion.
- Install solar energy systems, ensuring all components are securely mounted according to AHJ requirements.
- Assist in roofing tasks as needed to facilitate solar panel installation.
- Operate forklifts and other machinery safely while transporting materials on-site.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience as an electrician or in a related electrical field is required.
- Familiarity with high voltage systems, low voltage systems, and NEC regulations is essential.
- Previous experience in commercial electrician roles is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of construction site practices and safety measures is necessary.
- Ability to read schematics and blueprints effectively is crucial for this role.
- Experience with Enphase, Tesla systems may be beneficial.

Pay: $27.81 - $30.00 per hour
