About the role: The Quality Auditor is responsible for performing audits of processes, documentation, and finished products to ensure compliance with company standards, GMP, and regulatory requirements. This role helps identify issues, verify corrective actions, and support continuous improvement in quality systems.
The position will be fully on-site and located at our new Mesa, AZ facility.
Position will pay $22.00-$24.00 per hour DOE.
Duties/Responsibilities:

Conduct internal audits of production, warehouse, and quality processes.

Review documentation, batch records, and reports for accuracy and compliance.

Inspect finished products and packaging to verify quality standards.

Identify and report non-conformances or deviations.
-
Work with QA, QC, and Production teams to correct and prevent issues.

Maintain accurate and organized audit records.

Assist in training employees on quality and compliance standards.

Support regulatory inspections and customer audits as needed.

Ensure all work follows GMP, SOP, and company safety rules.

Develop and follow audit schedules and checklists to ensure comprehensive coverage of production, warehouse, and quality systems.

Verify implementation and effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) from previous audits.

Conduct physical walkthroughs of production and warehouse areas to observe practices and verify compliance with SOPs.

Prepare written audit reports summarizing findings, risks, and recommendations for management review.

Track open audit findings and follow up with responsible departments until resolution.

Required Skills/Abilities:

High school diploma or GED required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.

1–3 years of experience in quality assurance, auditing, or manufacturing preferred.

Knowledge of GMP, SOPs, and regulatory standards.

Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.

Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.

Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout production, warehouse, and quality areas for the entire scheduled shift (typically 8-10 hours) while conducting audits and floor inspections, with only standard meal and rest breaks; this is an essential function of the role.

Ability to frequently bend, reach, and crouch to inspect equipment, storage areas, and product staged at varying heights.

Ability to climb ladders or step stools to access elevated storage or production areas as needed during audits.

Ability to occasionally lift and carry documents, samples, or products weighing up to 40 lbs.

Manual dexterity sufficient to operate computer systems, handheld devices, and standard office equipment for documentation and reporting.

Near vision sufficient to read batch records, labels, documentation, and computer screens in detail.

Hearing sufficient to communicate with staff and detect equipment or safety alarms while auditing an active production and warehouse environment.

Ability to tolerate exposure to varying production and warehouse temperatures, dust, and equipment noise.

Ability to wear required PPE while on the production and warehouse floor, including safety glasses, hearing protection as needed, and slip-resistant closed-toe or steel-toed footwear.

Compliance with all GMP, SOP, and plant safety/OSHA requirements.
