We are a local ABA therapy center located in Chicago’s Old Town, providing high-quality, ethical ABA services in a welcoming, supportive, and client-centered environment. Our mission is to promote autonomy, independence, and long-term success for the children and families we serve. We are currently looking for an experienced and dependable Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team as a Floater / Substitute RBT.
About the Position
This role is designed for an RBT who is comfortable working with different clients, age groups, skill levels, and behavioral needs. The Floater RBT will provide coverage when regularly scheduled RBTs are absent, when additional staffing is needed, or when schedule changes and client needs require coverage.
Schedule flexibility is essential. Some shifts will include Saturdays.
Responsibilities:
- Provide in-person direct ABA therapy for clients in one-on-one and group settings.
- Serve as substitute coverage for RBT absences, schedule changes, and other staffing needs.
- Collect and record accurate data to monitor progress and treatment effectiveness.
- Collaborate closely with BCBAs, RBTs, and other members of the clinical team.
- Perform other administrative duties as requested to assist the team members.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; some college preferred
- Reliable transportation method to and from the clinic
- Current Registered Behavior Technician certification REQUIRED
- Basic Life Support (CPR) certification is preferred
- 6+ months experience as an RBT
- Energetic, kind, dependable, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to adjust to changing assignments and schedules
