We believe children learn best through hands-on exploration, meaningful relationships, and play-based experiences. We are a nature-based early childhood program, and a love of outdoor learning is a must! Our Nature's Classroom is an extension of every classroom, and our teachers spend a significant portion of each day outdoors, encouraging children to explore, discover, create, and connect with the natural world.

Responsibilities
- Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning through play, both indoors and outdoors.
- Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
- Foster curiosity and a love of nature through daily outdoor experiences.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow staff members.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom.
- Follow all state licensing regulations and Surreybrook School policies.
Qualifications
- Experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare setting preferred.
- A genuine love for working with young children.
- A passion for nature-based education and outdoor learning.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, patient, flexible, and enthusiastic.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
