Overview
The Vic Mellor Campaign Office is looking for a Commercial Cleaner to complete weekly office cleaning duties. The building is comprised of several offices, a large conference room, a kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and a cubical area. We are looking for a cleaner that has residential or commercial experience, references needed. Cleaning can take place after 7pm or before 8am on any weekday, on Saturday before 9am or after noon, or anytime on Sunday.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, office kitchen, restrooms, hallways, and common areas to meet established standards.
- Ensure all horizontal surfaces are free of dust and debris and all vertical surfaces are wiped down, all mirrors and windows cleaned and streak free
- Conduct floor care activities including vacuum, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a professional appearance.
- Clean carpets using appropriate methods such as vacuuming or extraction to ensure fresh and hygienic surfaces.
- Handle janitorial duties like restocking supplies, disposing of waste, and maintaining cleaning equipment.
- Follow safety protocols and environmentally friendly practices during all cleaning procedures.
- Use specialized tools and products for environmental services to uphold health standards.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to ensure a secure environment for all occupants.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is highly desirable, but not required.
- Experience with sanitation and safety procedures, carpet cleaning methods and equipment operation.
- Ability to perform detailed cleaning tasks efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent time management skills.
- Familiarity with environmental services practices and eco-friendly cleaning products is a plus.
Pay: $100.00 - $150.00 per week
