Duties
- Engage with potential clients through outside sales efforts, including face-to-face meetings and community outreach
- Conduct retail sales by demonstrating product features and benefits to customers
- Utilize negotiation techniques to close sales and achieve targets effectively
- Manage sales administration tasks such as updating customer records, processing transactions, and maintaining accurate documentation
- Apply analysis skills to identify customer needs, market trends, and sales opportunities
- Communicate clearly and confidently with clients in multiple languages to enhance customer satisfaction
- Support marketing initiatives by promoting products and services across various channels
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience
- Assist benefits administration processes when applicable, explaining insurance options or related services
- Follow HIPAA guidelines when handling sensitive health-related information in relevant contexts
- Engage in telemarketing activities to generate leads and expand outreach efforts
Qualifications
- Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing roles preferred
- Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to persuade and build rapport
- Multilingual or bilingual proficiency is highly desirable to serve diverse client bases effectively
- Demonstrated analysis skills for assessing customer needs and market data
- Knowledge of sales administration practices and benefits management is a plus
- Experience in insurance sales or related fields enhances suitability for this role
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a proactive attitude toward customer service excellence
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment
