Southeast Behavioral Hospital:
Southeast Behavioral Hospital is excited to begin offering a full continuum of inpatient and outpatient services to the people of Southeast Missouri. Our 102-provides a wide range of mental, emotional and behavioral health services for children, teens, adults and seniors experiencing mental health issues, such as depression, anxiety and co-occurring substance use issues. Qualifications
JOB SUMMARY:
The Therapist provides clinical social work services in designated areas in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Southeast Behavioral Health. The Therapist is responsible for psychosocial assessments, individual, group and family therapy, participation in treatment team planning, processing commitments, and discharge planning/case management service, crisis intervention and liaison services with referral sources and other departments within the hospital.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical/Counseling Psychology or Social Services related field required.
Experience: Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in psychiatric/mental health field. Prefer candidates with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in advanced clinical/management practice.
License: Appropriate state licensure in mental health. Preference will be given to candidates holding a LCSW licensure or greater.
Additional Requirements: A strong knowledge of TJC, CMS, OSHA regulations, and patient rights standards and all other applicable federal and state laws and regulations governing mental health care facilities.
Work Hours: PRN status-Weekends Only.
