Location: Elk River, MN
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour, depending on experience
Shift: Sunday-Thursday, 10:00 pm-6:00 am
Employment Type: Full time, trial hire

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Safe operation of MIG welding machine and various other tools used to complete project
- Create quality and accurate welds according to blueprints.
- Inspect welds for accuracy.
- Prepare product to be welded by grinding, drilling, milling, tapping, and cutting steel parts.
- Change welding wire as needed.
- Change shielding gas tanks, as needed
- Follow and enforce all safety rules and regulations
- Ensure equipment is properly set up & used in a safe manner & that all safety devices are used
- Operate forklift, if required and certified.
- Perform inspections on product before, during, and after the build following the company's standards.
- Monitor functionality of equipment and tools and request maintenance when required.
- Performs basic maintenance and repair as required.
- Effectively communicate with supervisors & other production staff to coordinate work schedules
What makes you a great fit:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Combination of trade school and/or 2 years practical experience
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Outstanding attention to detail, ability to multitask, strong time management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of welding machinery, electrical equipment, and hand tools.
- Ability to use tape measures and other measuring tools.
- Knowledge or willingness to cross-train in other production departments.
- Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment drug test.
- Must be able to effectively read, write, and speak the English language.
