Welcome to the Pana team!
Pana Food wants to bring Venezuelan culture to all of Santa Cruz county via the Arepa. Arepas are the heart and soul of Venezuelan cuisine. Each Arepa tells a story about Venezuelan culture. From the Reina which is named after the first Venezuelan Miss Universe, to the Pabellon which is full of the ingredients that make up the Venezuelan national dish, Pana aims to create a true Venezuelan gastronomic experience.
Here at Pana Food we strive to create a productive and inviting work environment that encourages growth and self-development. In fact it is even in our name! Pana is slang for friend or homie. Venezuelan people are inherently some of the happiest people in the world. We strive to bring that same attitude to our customers and co-workers.
As a part of the Pana team your main responsibilities would include:
- Assisting in prepping at our commercial kitchen
- Delivering food and dry storage to our restaurant in Santa Cruz, San Jose and Food truck
- Loading and unloading inventory at delivery location (Must be able to lift 50lb)
- Returning required inventory to the commercial kitchen
- Driving a vehicle that requires a class C license
Our current schedules are flexible and we are happy to train, if you don't have prior experience working in a kitchen. All we ask is that you come with a good willing to learn attitude and a great work ethic. Being a self starter is also appreciated.
