Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Collision Center Estimator/Project Manager to join our fast-paced automotive repair team. In this role, you will be the key point of contact for customers and insurance adjusters, accurately assessing vehicle damage and developing comprehensive repair plans. You will oversee the entire repair process, ensuring timely completion while maintaining exceptional customer service standards. Your mechanical knowledge, estimating expertise, and ability to communicate effectively will drive customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead collision repairs from start to finish, utilizing your automotive diagnostics skills and sales acumen to maximize shop productivity and client trust.
Duties
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections using computer-aided estimating software to determine repair scope and costs
- Prepare detailed estimates for collision repairs, including bodywork, mechanical repairs, and component replacements
- Communicate clearly with customers, insurance companies, and technicians to explain repair needs and cost estimates
- Manage repair timelines, coordinate with technicians on parts ordering and job progress to ensure timely completion
- Oversee the repair process from initial estimate through final quality control inspection
- Maintain accurate documentation of all repairs, estimates, and client interactions in compliance with company standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience in auto estimating software and collision repair processes
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience as a service technician or in automotive diagnostics
- Dealership experience or background in automotive service management is highly desirable
- Familiarity with computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools and auto estimating procedures
- Excellent client communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence
- Knowledge of automotive systems including transmissions, brakes, suspension, shocks & struts, tire service, and oil changes
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- MUST HAVE A CURRENT PA DAMAGE APPRAISER LICENSE

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
