As a Teacher for Petite Scholars Learning Center, your primary responsibility will be to develop our scholars.
- Providing a safe and orderly environment in which our academic objectives will be achieved.
- Planning both long and short-range activities in accordance with curriculum objectives, developmentally appropriate practice and our program philosophy.
- Meet the emotional, social, physical and cognitive needs of each child
- Prepare monthly plan charts for your classroom
- Complete bi-annual assessment of children's development
- Report progress of children to parents in bi-annual reports and through parent-teacher conferences
- Maintain daily open communication with our parents
- Keep accident reports
- Maintain anecdotal records
- Maintain confidentiality
- Lead Teacher is responsible for reporting any suspected abuse to the Director
- Arrange the classroom environment in accordance to our program goals and philosophy
- Meet all applicable licensing regulations
- Establish routines and provide positive guidance to Preschoolers
