Overview
We are a growing real estate investment company with a portfolio of commercial and residential properties seeking a skilled, dependable, self-motivated, dynamic and experienced Lead Maintenance & Construction Technician. This position requires the ability to oversee and execute critical maintenance and construction activities across our projects. This role is vital in ensuring operational excellence, safety, and efficiency within our work environment. As a leader, you will coordinate complex projects, supervise technicians and sub-contractors, and implement preventative maintenance strategies to keep our work environments running smoothly. Your expertise will drive continuous improvement and uphold the highest standards of quality and safety. This position combines hands-on property maintenance with remodeling, tenant build-outs, and construction projects.
Duties
- Lead and supervise maintenance and construction projects, ensuring timely completion within scope and safety guidelines
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues using schematics, electrical testing tools like ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to plan and execute construction or repair projects
- Conduct residential painting, carpentry, or other finishing work as needed to maintain facility aesthetics and integrity
- Perform maintenance and repairs for commercial and residential properties
- Complete remodeling projects, tenant build-outs, and property improvements
- Troubleshoot and resolve tenant maintenance issues
- Perform plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall, framing, carpentry, and general repair work
- Lay out walls and complete framing projects as needed
- Assist with project scheduling and coordination
Experience
- Proven supervisory experience leading maintenance and construction teams
- Extensive knowledge with hands-on experience
- Skilled in reading schematics, technical drawings, and layouts for effective repairs and modifications
- Experience with maintenance including plumbing, HVAC systems, electrical wiring, and general building upkeep
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members, vendors, and others in English language proficiency

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
