Golden Age Dental Care is the oldest and most trusted mobile dentistry service for nursing homes in Los Angeles, Orange County, and the West Inland Empire.
We are seeking entry-level Dental Assistants with experience in healthcare to join our team. We will provide training for qualified applicants.
As a Mobile Dental Assistant (Field Treatment Coordinator-FTC), you will assist in providing dental care to patients residing in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF's). You will be required to drive up to 60 miles per day to facilities throughout your region, in a company car.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Dentist during dental procedures
- Maintain patient records and update medical histories according to HIPAA guidelines
- Ensure the safety of patients during the process
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Ensure that mobile dental equipment is clean and properly stocked with supplies
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
- Travel from our central hub to SNF's and set up mobile dental equipment
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and facility staff
Requirements:
- You must have a valid US driver's license and a clean driving record
- You must be willing to drive throughout your region as assigned
- Prior experience in a dental/healthcare setting is preferred, but we will provide training for the right candidates
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and work as part of a team
- Proven excellence in communication and customer service skills
- You must be computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or practice management software
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Schedule:
10-hour shift beginning as early as 6:30am
4 days a week
Saturday shifts available
Job Types: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 per hour, with overtime and potential for bonuses.
