Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Lead Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment. This position involves overseeing classroom activities, developing curriculum, and ensuring that each child receives personalized attention to support their growth and development.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging curriculum tailored to the needs of preschool children, incorporating Montessori principles where appropriate.
- Lead classroom activities, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for all students.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavior management strategies, and any concerns that may arise.
- Conduct standardized testing as required, analyzing results to inform instructional practices.
- Provide guidance and support to teaching assistants and other staff members in the classroom.
- Foster relationships with students, encouraging their social, emotional, and cognitive development through interactive learning experiences.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and behavior while adhering to school policies and regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in curriculum development and implementation within a preschool or daycare setting is essential.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques to support diverse learning needs.
- Previous experience in tutoring or teaching within private schools is advantageous.
- A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a love of learning in young children.
