We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Lead Teacher to join our educational team. This position involves overseeing classroom activities, developing curriculum, and ensuring that each child receives personalized attention to support their growth and development.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging curriculum tailored to the needs of preschool children, incorporating Montessori principles where appropriate.
- Lead classroom activities, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for all students.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavior management strategies, and any concerns that may arise.
- Conduct standardized testing as required, analyzing results to inform instructional practices.
- Provide guidance and support to teaching assistants and other staff members in the classroom.
- Foster relationships with students, encouraging their social, emotional, and cognitive development through interactive learning experiences.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and behavior while adhering to school policies and regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in curriculum development and implementation within a preschool or daycare setting is essential.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques to support diverse learning needs.
- Previous experience in tutoring or teaching within private schools is advantageous.
- A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a love of learning in young children.
