We pride ourselves on high-quality workmanship, professionalism, and a strong team culture. We are currently seeking an experienced Journeyman Plumber to join our commercial plumbing division.
Job Summary:
The Journeyman Plumber will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining commercial plumbing systems in accordance with local plumbing codes and project specifications. This role requires a self-motivated professional with a strong work ethic and proven commercial experience.
Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain piping systems, fixtures, and other plumbing used for water distribution and wastewater disposal in commercial buildings.
- Interpret blueprints, specifications, and building codes.
- Collaborate with general contractors, project managers, and other construction professionals.
- Cut, assemble, and install pipes and fittings using hand and power tools.
- Perform pressure tests on systems and make necessary adjustments.
- Diagnose plumbing issues and propose effective solutions.
- Ensure all work complies with current codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
- Maintain accurate records of materials used and time spent on projects.
Requirements:.
- experience in commercial plumbing.
- Strong knowledge of local plumbing codes and OSHA safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Proficient in using plumbing tools and equipment.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in a physically demanding environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Backflow certification or medical gas certification is a plus.
- Experience with large-scale commercial or industrial projects.
