The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – PRN provides direct patient care and supportive services to clients in accordance with individualized care plans, Colorado regulations, and company policies. The CNA assists clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), observes and reports changes in condition, and supports a safe, compassionate, and professional care environment.
PRN staff work on an as-needed basis and may provide coverage in home health, adult day care, clinic support, or assisted living settings depending on operational needs.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with ambulation and fall prevention
- Observe and report changes in client condition
- Take and document vital signs
- Support infection prevention protocols
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Complete accurate and timely documentation
- Follow all charting and documentation requirements
- Participate in required trainings and competencies
Required:
- Active Colorado CNA license in good standing
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to safely assist clients with mobility and transfers
- Reliable transportation (if applicable)
Preferred:
- Experience in home health, adult day care, assisted living, skilled nursing, or memory care
- Bilingual abilities preferred
- Strong communication skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Professional demeanor and reliability
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, bend, walk, and assist with transfers throughout shift

Per-visit compensation is inclusive of the completion of the scheduled visit and submission of complete, accurate, and compliant documentation within required timelines including all charting associated with the visit. Incomplete, missing, late, or non-compliant documentation and charting will constitute an incomplete visit and may result in the deferment of payroll processing and/or impact visit compensation until all documentation and charting requirements are satisfied.
