Job Summary
Assistant buyer needed for Senior buyer for appliances and general merchandise distribution company.
This is a permanent buying position.
Must Have Buying experience
Responsibilities: - Checking stock levels of products in the warehouse and reporting back to Buyer on stock-outs
- Reviewing sales data and making recommendations for what needs to be purchased
- Sorting order forms based on vendor, priority, and products
Qualifications and Skills
Requirements:
- The ability to multi-task between a computer and entering data on a spreadsheet.
- Be tech-savvy and to be able to be a quick-learner for any new inventory management systems being taught- Be familiar with spreadsheet such as Microsoft Excel
Raises will be given in accordance with performance and effort. The position will bridge together information on the warehouse floor to the back-office.
