We are hiring for General Maintenance/Material Handler in our machine shop of mills, lathes, and swiss turning.
Key Responsibilities:
- General cleaning and maintenance of shop
- Preventative maintenance of machines per schedule
- Operate Forklift
- Ship and receive large shipments
- Maintain organization of material and maintenance rooms
- Saw materials to size as needed
- Move materials through shop as needed
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Basic machining operations such as polishing or deburring
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in an industrial or manufacturing facility preferred
- Ability to read and understand standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, sit, walk and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery and noise.
- Occasional bending, stooping, and reaching may be required.
- Manual dexterity for handling small components.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. repeatedly and 50 lbs. occasionally, as required.
