Hunt Pest Service is a locally owned and operated pest control company serving Rutherford County and surrounding areas. We are looking for a dependable, motivated Pest Control Service Technician to join our growing team.
Pest control experience is NOT required. We are willing to train the right person.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, shows up when scheduled, communicates well with customers, and can work independently while representing our company professionally.
What You'll Do
As a Pest Control Service Technician, you will travel to residential and commercial properties to provide pest control services and help customers solve and prevent pest problems.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing scheduled residential and commercial pest control services
- Inspecting properties for pest activity and conditions that may contribute to pest problems
- Applying pest control products according to label directions and company procedures
- Identifying common household and structural pests
- Communicating findings and recommendations clearly with customers
- Completing service documentation accurately
- Maintaining company equipment and keeping your service vehicle clean and organized
- Following company safety procedures
- Managing a daily service route and staying on schedule
- Providing professional, friendly customer service
- Communicating with the office and management throughout the workday as needed

You do not need previous pest control experience. We can teach pest control—the qualities we're looking for start with the person.

Reliable attendance is an important part of this position. Our customers have scheduled appointments and depend on our technicians to arrive as expected.
Required Qualifications
Applicants must:
- Have an active, valid driver's license
- Have a clean driving record
- Be able to pass a background check
- Be legally eligible to work in the United States
- Be able to safely perform the physical duties of the position
Physical & Working Conditions
This is an active, hands-on position. Technicians may be required to:
- Walk and stand for extended periods
- Bend, kneel, crouch, and reach
- Carry pest control equipment and supplies
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Enter crawlspaces and other confined areas when necessary
- Drive throughout the workday between customer locations
Pay
$18.00–$21.00 per hour
Starting pay will be based on experience, qualifications, and applicable licensing.
Training
Previous pest control experience is welcome but not required.
Hunt Pest Service is willing to train the right candidate. You will receive hands-on training in pest identification, treatment techniques, customer service, safety procedures, equipment use, and the requirements necessary to perform pest control services properly.
