Cadott Northtown Auto Repair, LLC operates as one of the finest auto repair shops in the entire Chippewa Valley and surrounding areas. Our Business continues to grow on the foundations of trust, good service, and great prices. We have the ability to work on all the new models and also pride ourselves on working on classic cars. We are established in a state of the art building that is less than 3 years old at a very busy location. Because of this success, we are looking for another mechanic to keep up with the demand. We give Automotive Technicians the ability to excel and advance their skill sets while working in a friendly environment with great staff. There's definitely a small town feel, but we provide big-time service!
We know everyone’s career path is different and would explore technicians with alternative backgrounds as well.
Pay Rate:
We have quite possibly the most technician friendly pay plan in the industry. You are guaranteed at least 40 hours a week here. We are looking for a skilled technician and as a result, you would be paid accordingly. If you are lesser experienced, we are willing to hear about your skill set and what you can bring to the table. Finally, on top of our 401k program, we offer paid time off. We aim to take care of our employees and are known to be a good locally owned company to work for.
Duties
- Perform oil changes, tire repairs, brake jobs, etc.
- Repair and maintain various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, powertrain components, suspension, steering, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Conduct other routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and mechanical knowledge to complete repairs efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and repair guides to execute precise repairs on a variety of vehicles.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring vehicle quality meets high standards before returning it to the customer.
Qualifications
- Proven mechanic experience with dealership or independent repair shop background preferred.
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, powertrain components, and mechanical repairs.
- Familiarity with schematics, vehicle maintenance procedures, suspension work, tire service, shocks & struts replacement, brake repair, and welding.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and automotive electrical systems effectively.
- Excellent mechanical aptitude combined with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with good communication skills for explaining repairs clearly.
- Mechanic experience is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential. Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
