Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide knowledgeable assistance with menu items and food options
- Prepare and serve a variety of food items, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for retail sales transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales revenue
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Manage food handling responsibilities, including proper storage, portioning, and serving techniques
- Assist with inventory management, restocking supplies, and monitoring product freshness
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or café environments preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining efficiency during busy periods
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitation standards
- Basic math skills for retail math, cash handling, and inventory counting
- Culinary or kitchen experience is a plus; food preparation skills are highly valued
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments with good time management skills
