Cashier — New Restaurant Opening in Paramus!
Opening August 2026 | $17.50–$17.75 per hour
Canton Rodeo is opening its first location in Paramus, NJ—and we’re looking for friendly, energetic Cashiers to join our opening team!
You’ll be one of the first people our guests meet. Your job is to welcome them with a smile, help them navigate the menu, take accurate orders, and make every visit feel fun and memorable. You’re not just ringing up orders—you’re creating moments of hospitality!
What You’ll Do
- Welcome guests with warmth and positive energy
- Take orders and process payments accurately
- Learn the menu, answer questions, and make recommendations
- Keep the counter, dining room, and guest areas clean and stocked
- Help prepare and hand off food and beverages
- Jump in to support teammates during busy periods
- Follow all food-safety, sanitation, and cash-handling procedures
What We’re Looking For
- A friendly, outgoing personality
- Strong communication and listening skills
- A positive, reliable, can-do attitude
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to stay upbeat in a busy environment
- Restaurant, retail, or POS experience is a plus—but we’re happy to train the right person!
- Spanish-English bilingual skills are a plus
This active role requires standing for extended periods and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds.

Where: Interviews will take place off-site in the Hackensack/Paramus area. The exact address will be provided to invited candidates.
