Mental Health Counselor, PLLC – New York, NY
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team. This is a hybrid position — you must be available to work two days in the office. The ideal candidate is already licensed in New York State (limited permit holders may also be considered).

Duties:
- Assist in the assessment and evaluation of patients' mental health conditions.
- Implement treatment plans.
- Provide direct care and support to patients.
- Monitor and document patient progress and behaviour.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of patients at all times.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation by regulatory standards.
Skills:
- Knowledge of medical documentation and record-keeping.
- Proficiency in various therapeutic techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations with empathy and professionalism.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address patient needs effectively.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a mental health setting.
- Valid licensure as a Mental Health Counselor.
