Job Overview
We are seeking a store manager who will work directly with the owner and be able to perform the full range of duties and responsibilities required in a thriving independent record store. Haddonfield Record Exchange is under new ownership and is growing rapidly due to increased demand in the industry.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all store activities, including sales, customer service, inventory control, and staff management.
- Manage daily operations such as cash handling, POS (Point of Sale) systems
- Implement effective marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and operational standards.
- Utilize strong communication skills to foster teamwork, resolve customer concerns promptly, and maintain a positive shopping environment.
Skills
- Experience within the record industry with a focus on grading and pricing vintage records.
- Excellent negotiation skills for vendor relations and purchasing negotiations.
- Experience in inventory management, POS systems, cash handling.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively across multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of music across genres, record grading systems, and Discogs/Ebay.
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
