Busy Multi Provider Medical Specialty Practice near ESJH / Northside Hospital has an immediate opening for an experienced Medical Biller / Coder.
Following are requirements for this position:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
In this medical billing and coding position you will be directly responsible for collection of monies due at time of service, insurance verification, MEDICAL BILLING AND CODING, and answering incoming patient related phone calls, scheduling of new and returning patients. Also, assisting other administrative staff with overflow work
REQUIREMENTS:
The minimum qualifications are:
--2+ years of billing/front office experience in a Medical setting is required.
--Flexibility a MUST and enjoy assisting with reception/front office duties.
--Ideal candidate must possess exceptional oral and written communication.
--Proficient in MS Office: Word and Excel
--Demonstrate ability to clearly define opportunities, logically diagnose cause/effect, and then identify and create solutions.
--Knowledge of medical terminology, INSURANCE VERIFICATION, CURRENT CPT/ ICD-10 coding.
--CURRENT MEDICAL BILLING EXPERIENCE
SKILLS REQUIRED
--Must have proven organizational skills, the ability to multi-task, to work/think independently, exercise sound decision and good judgment.
