Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Worship Leader to inspire and lead our congregation in heartfelt worship experiences. Duties
- Lead weekly worship services by selecting songs, coordinating musicians, and creating an engaging worship environment
- Develop and rehearse with the worship team to ensure musical excellence and unity
- Foster spiritual growth among team members through mentoring, teaching, and providing constructive feedback
- Collaborate with the Lead Pastor to plan worship themes that align with sermon series and church events
- Cultivate a welcoming atmosphere that encourages participation from the congregation of all ages and backgrounds
- Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of new worship team members
- Ensure all musical equipment and resources are maintained and prepared for services
Requirements
- Proven experience leading worship in a church or faith-based setting with demonstrated musical proficiency. Church of God background preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor team members
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff, volunteers, and congregation members
- Knowledge of various musical styles and the ability to adapt to different worship contexts
- Experience in teaching music or leading rehearsals is highly desirable
- A genuine passion for spiritual growth and fostering an inclusive worship environment
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining a positive attitude
