Renewal Unlimited is seeking a Part Time Bus Driver for our Head Start classroom in Baraboo.
Key Requirements:
- Part-time 12-20+ hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- Part-year position that runs for 9 ½ months during our school year, starts late August and finishing end of May. Ideal candidate would currently hold a CDL and bus endorsement, training would be available for a candidate as well.
- Will drive Head Start children (age 3 to 5) twice per day, once for pickup in the morning and another for drop-off in the afternoon.
- The bus driver must have or obtain a School Bus Driver's License (CDL) within 90 days of hire and have a clean driving record for the past 3 years.
- Renewal pays all costs for obtaining a CDL.
Additional Details:
- Children are in the classroom from 8am-3pm Monday through Thursday. Friday hours would be for trainings, staff meeting, etc. as needed.
- Route is expected to take about 60-90 minutes, but is subject to adjustment based on enrollment.
- The bus is a short 29 max capacity bus.
- An aide accompanies the driver on every route.
- This position is eligible for holiday, sick and personal leave as well as eligible to participate in the retirement program upon meeting the program requirements.
