Job Title: Caregiver / Personal Care Attendant (PAS)
Location: League City, TX (and surrounding areas in Galveston/Harris County)

Reports To: Care Coordinator / Agency Supervisor About the Agency. We are a licensed Personal Assistance Services (PAS) agency based in League City, Texas, dedicated to helping clients maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes. Our team provides reliable, compassionate non-medical support to seniors, individuals with disabilities, and others who need assistance with daily living. Position Summary. The Caregiver provides hands-on personal care and companionship to clients in their homes according to each individual’s plan of care. This role focuses on promoting safety, comfort, and independence while treating every client with respect and empathy.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene
- Help with mobility, transfers, walking, and positioning using proper body mechanics and any prescribed assistive devices
- Support light housekeeping related to the client’s care (laundry, changing bed linens, tidying living areas, meal preparation and cleanup)
- Prepare simple, nutritious meals and assist with feeding if needed
- Provide medication reminders (no administration of medications unless specifically authorized and trained)
- Offer companionship, engage in conversation, and encourage participation in preferred activities
- Monitor and report changes in the client’s physical or mental condition to the supervisor promptly
- Maintain accurate daily documentation of services provided and any observations
- Follow infection-control practices, safety protocols, and the client’s individualized plan of care
- Transport clients to appointments or errands when authorized (valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required for these cases)
- Uphold client privacy and confidentiality at all times (HIPAA compliance)
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid Texas driver’s license and reliable transportation (preferred; required for some cases)
- Ability to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, and any required state/agency clearances
- Previous caregiving, CNA, HHA, or related experience preferred but not always required — we provide orientation and training
- Physical ability to lift/transfer clients (up to 50 lbs with assistance), stand/walk for extended periods, and perform light household tasks
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays
