The Director of Revenue Cycle Management will be responsible for leading a large RCM team working in multiple states and specialties. Director of RCM will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing client KPIs and analyzing areas of improvement and education for both internal staff and client staff. Director of RCM will work closely with the CEO and COO to grow and improve quality of services.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides strategic direction, leads innovations and operational enhancements/standardization by leveraging best practices and technology
- Collaborate to build and implement efficiency strategies around KPIs
- Drive team performance
- Implement and Develop Training guides and strategies for new members.
- Provides management supervision and direction for all team members
- Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
- Take the lead in understanding the critical areas of client’s business and offer solutions and advise
- Maintain positive working relationships with existing and new clients with a constant focus on customer service in a growth-oriented environment.
- Prepare regular reports for executives
- Oversee operations both oversees and local.
- Develop policies and procedures as needed
- Any other duties as signed by CEO or EVP.
CORE COMPETENCIES, EDUCATION, AND CERTIFICATION:
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
- 7-10 Year's of medical billing / revenue cycle management experience
- Demonstrated successful project management skills and implementation of complex multiple system integrations
- Must be highly organized and able to coordinate many simultaneous activities
- Management Experience Required
- Minimum Education - Bachelor's Degree
- Willingness to Travel - Occasionally
- Proven experience in RCM and large volume billing
- CPC Certification a Plus
WORKING ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are expected to fluctuate but at a minimum this position will be required to work from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Monday through Thursday) and 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (Friday), and occasionally after regular business hours. Regular travel may be required. The position operates in a professional office environment and the incumbent, in the course of performing this position, spends time writing, typing, speaking, listening, driving, seeing (such as close, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and adjusted focus), standing, sitting, walking, and reaching. The incumbent operates all standard office equipment, motor vehicles, and mobile phones. The work environment characteristics and physical demands described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
