Brys Estate Vineyard & Winery is one of the premier wineries on Old Mission Peninsula, offering a unique and memorable guest experience. With a commitment to excellence in both wine and hospitality, we are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our guest service team.
Ideal candidates will be enthusiastic, personable, and committed to delivering unforgettable guest experiences. You’ll represent the Brys Estate brand with professionalism, share information about our wines and services, encourage sales, and contribute to a welcoming and polished environment.
Positions Available (Part-Time):
- Table Service
- Table Bussing
- Barbacking (Upper Deck or Lawn Bar)
- Retail
- Kitchen Support
Duties May Include:
- Serving guests seated at tables on the Upper Deck
- Providing water service and bussing guest areas (removing glassware, finished cheese boards, sanitizing tables, etc.)
- Pouring wine for servers or guests at the Upper Deck or Lawn Bar
- Maintaining clean and stocked glassware behind the bar
- Using our POS system (iPad-based) to process cash and credit card transactions
- Answering questions about our wines, tasting options, promotions, Wine Club, Secret Garden, special events, and more
- Assisting with opening/closing duties and ongoing cleanliness of all guest service areas
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Availability to work through November (Preferred, but not required)
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude
- Previous service experience preferred
- Wine knowledge is helpful but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly, courteous, and professional demeanor
- Clear communication skills with guests and coworkers
- Comfort with technology (iPad and basic computer functions)
- Ability to stand for the duration of the shift and climb stairs repeatedly
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs (a case of wine)
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions from management
- General knowledge of the local area and tourism is a plus
- Weekend availability

- Compensation range = hourly wage plus anticipated shared tips (averaging $20.00-$28.00 per hour)
