School Bus Attendant – Full-Time
Help keep students safe while making a difference every day!
We are currently hiring School Bus Attendants to join our transportation team. As a Bus Attendant, you'll work alongside our school bus drivers to ensure students have a safe and comfortable ride to and from school.
Responsibilities
- Assist the school bus driver in ensuring the safety of students during transportation.
- Supervise students while the bus is in operation.
- Assist students with boarding, unloading, and seating arrangements.
- Report any behavioral concerns to the Transportation Coordinator.
- Board the bus at the school and remain with the students until the last stop on the route.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must be able to speak English.
- Must obtain the required 30-Hour Basic Training (we will help you get certified).
- Must pass a New York City Department of Education background check.
- Must complete a medical examination and fingerprinting.
