Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Van Cleaner to help maintain our fleet of mobile pet grooming vans. This position is responsible for ensuring each grooming van is thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and stocked at the end of each workday so our groomers are ready for the next day's appointments.
Duties
- Clean the interior of mobile grooming vans at the end of each day.
- Sweep and mop floors.
- Wipe down and sanitize grooming tables, tubs, countertops, and other work surfaces.
- Empty trash and dispose of pet hair and waste properly.
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other interior surfaces.
- Refill cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies are running low.
- Ensure each van is left clean, organized, and ready for the following day's schedule.
- Report any maintenance issues or damage noticed during cleaning.
Qualifications
- Reliable and punctual.
- Able to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable working around pet hair and cleaning products.
- Previous cleaning experience is a plus but not required.
Schedule
- Part-time; 1-2 hours a day needed for cleaning
- Evening hours after groomers return from their routes.
- Typical shift length varies depending on the number of vans and cleaning needs.
