Job Description
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our apartment community team. This position is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems while also assisting with general apartment maintenance and make-ready duties.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems
- Perform preventative maintenance on air conditioning and heating equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical HVAC issues
- Replace motors, capacitors, thermostats, and other HVAC components
- Perform HVAC inspections and system testing
- Complete work orders in a timely manner
- Assist with apartment make-readies as needed
- Perform basic plumbing, electrical, and maintenance repairs
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Requirements
- HVAC experience required
- EPA Certification preferred but not required
- Knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and HVAC diagnostics
- Experience in apartment maintenance is a plus
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have your own tools
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Strong troubleshooting skills
Pay: From $1.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
