REPORTS TO: LICENSED CHILD CARE ADMINISTRATOR (“LCCA”)
Kinship Konnection seeks a responsible Treatment Director that is a compassionate, care-driven professional who believes in facilitating wellness for clients and their families. The ideal candidate will be well versed in policies and procedures as it pertains to working for a Residential Treatment Center.
The Treatment Director is responsible for the overall treatment program, including clinical responsibility for the management of agency’s therapeutic interventions. Treatment Director provides direction and overall management of the treatment program in accordance with the Agency and DFPS standards. All duties will be performed based on administrative training and direct supervision of the LCCA. The Treatment Director will maintain a flexible, organized and efficient work schedule. This is a full-time position and is subject to work overtime and being on-call for youths and staff.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Coordinate, Facilitate and Communicate Therapeutic Services to include Psychiatric, Psychological, Therapy and other specialized services to meet the needs of the children as outlined by the service plan.
- Ensure a preliminary service plan is developed within 72 hours for every child placed into the program.
- Ensure an admission assessment is completed for all children placed in the agency homes according to the standards.
- Ensure a Diagnostic Assessment and Service plan is developed for each child admitted to the Agency Homes
- Ensure Service Plan Review meetings are held for each child as required by the standard. Must participate in Service plan review meetings for Treatment service children. Review all treatment decisions for child care service children prior to the development of the review document.
- Ensure that the service plan is carried out in timely and effective manner.
- Impose safety plans as needed.
- Periodic review of child case records to ensure that the documentation reflects delivery of the therapeutic services as per the child’s service plan.
- Conduct periodic staffing with case managers to ensure all files are updated.
- Complete monthly recreation logs and ensure therapeutic values are identified.
- Complete monthly progress notes as required.
- Other duties and responsibilities assigned time to time for the effective functioning and operation of the agency.
Position Requirements:
- Requires a Master’s degree in social or behavioral sciences or administrative field.
- Requires 2 years relevant experience with youth; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with databases; intermediate level experience with Outlook and Word required.

This job description is an outline of the main duties of the post. The post holder will be required to undertake other duties commensurate with the pay scale identified and as directed by the LCCA and the Managing Members. The content of this post will be reviewed on a regular basis in line with regulatory changes and service developments and any changes made will be through a consultation process where necessary.
