Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Front Desk Receptionist to join our team during the night shift. This vital role involves providing exceptional guest services, managing front desk operations, and ensuring smooth communication between guests and staff. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities with enthusiasm. Duties
- Night Shift and weekend availability
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression of the property
- Manage check-in and check-out procedures using property management systems (PMS) such as Mews - we can provide paid training
- Handle guest inquiries via phone and in person with professionalism, courtesy, and clear communication
- Coordinate reservations, modifications, cancellations, and special requests using hospitality reservation systems
- Help with laundry
- Bring up and put back garbage can (evening and night shift)
- make sure work area and common areas are kept fresh and clean
- Respond promptly to guest concerns or emergencies following hotel emergency procedures, providing solutions or escalating as needed
- Maintain security protocols by monitoring CCTV surveillance, controlling access points, and conducting routine safety checks during the night shift
Requirements
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to enhance guest interactions and client communication (not mandatory)
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on problem-solving and guest relations
- Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills for handling inquiries efficiently during night hours
- Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining high standards of hospitality and security
- Previous experience in hotel management or front desk roles is advantageous but not mandatory
