Physical Therapist Responsibilities
As an Outpatient Physical Therapist, you will:
- Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and functional assessments
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and diagnoses
- Provide outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation using evidence-based treatment approaches
- Utilize therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and functional training techniques
- Treat a variety of orthopedic, sports medicine, post-operative, and musculoskeletal conditions
- Educate patients on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and long-term wellness
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to maximize outcomes
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare providers
Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)
- Current Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain licensure
- New Graduate Physical Therapists encouraged to apply
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics, orthopedic rehabilitation, and patient-centered care
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
