Sunday Pharmacist Responsibilities
- Verify and accurately dispense prescriptions.
- Counsel patients on medications and answer clinical questions.
- Resolve prescription issues with prescribers or insurance when possible.
- Complete all required controlled substance documentation and compliance checks.
- Process refill requests and medication synchronization.
- Ensure all prescriptions and paperwork are complete and filed correctly.
- Clean and organize the pharmacy workstations and verification areas.
- Assist with patient phone calls and customer service.
- Identify operational issues and communicate them to the pharmacy manager.
- Prepare the pharmacy for Monday by ensuring workflow, inventory, and pending prescriptions are organized.
Must be a licensed pharmacist in NY.
Pay: $55.00 - $75.00 per hour
License/Certification:
- Licensed Pharmacist (Preferred)
