Area Manager – Ellianos Coffee (Franchise-Owned)
Reports To: Franchise Owner
1. Role Scope & Authority
Full operational oversight of multiple Ellianos Coffee locations within the
assigned market.
Authority to hire, fire, promote, and discipline store-level managers and
employees.
Direct responsibility for operational consistency, financial performance,
and sales growth across all assigned stores.
Act as the key connection between franchise ownership and store-level
teams to ensure standards and strategies are executed effectively.
2. Job Overview
The Area Manager is a results-driven leader responsible for managing the daily
operations and long-term growth of multiple stores. This position focuses on
building strong teams, driving operational excellence, and delivering a
consistent, exceptional guest experience across all locations.
3. Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership
Lead, coach, and mentor store managers and assistant managers.
Work directly with shift leads to reinforce values, processes, and
operational standards.
Ensure all stores meet or exceed Ellianos standards for service speed,
quality, and cleanliness.
Oversee execution of product rollouts, seasonal promotions, and new
initiatives.
- Talent Management & Culture
Recruit, hire, and develop top talent for management and hourly
positions. Conduct regular training, evaluations, and performance reviews for store
managers and assistant managers.
Foster a consistent culture across all stores that reflects Ellianos’ mission
and values.
- Customer Experience
Oversee customer service training programs to ensure superior guest
experiences.
Review customer feedback and drive initiatives to improve satisfaction
scores and online ratings.
- Financial & Performance Management
Analyze P&L statements, labor percentages, and food/beverage costs to
improve profitability.
Develop and track sales-building initiatives, including upselling strategies,
loyalty programs, and community partnerships.
Establish and maintain performance scorecards for all stores.
- Reporting & Communication
Provide regular updates to franchise ownership on sales performance,
staffing, and operational initiatives.
Maintain clear communication across all levels of the market to ensure
alignment on goals and expectations.
4. Qualifications
5+ years of leadership experience in multi-unit management, preferably in
quick-service restaurants, fast casual dining, or coffee/retail
environments.
Proven ability to lead teams, improve underperforming units, and deliver
measurable results.
Strong financial acumen, including P&L management, labor scheduling,
and inventory control.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, as needed.
Willingness to travel between store locations regularly.

Potential benefits package
Pay: $55,000.00 - $63,000.00 per year
